A little more about our Youth Theatre …
The Youth Theatre is open to everyone from absolute beginners to experienced young performers, offering a great way to make new friends and learn new skills. Our Youth Theatre Leader, Brigitte Aphrodite, is ready to guide young minds through the enchanting world of theatre:
"I'm thrilled to share my passion for creative expression with the young people of Thanet. This project is a fantastic opportunity to empower young minds through performance and to create a sense of belonging and self-worth. I believe art, theatre and creating is for everyone. Every child and young person deserves to experience the transformative power of creativity."

Classes work at the speed students need and we create bespoke ideas for the groups that take into account different personalities and preferences, including doing our utmost to accomodate those who would rather be involved in behind the scenes areas of theatre. No student will feel forced to perform in a production but of they choose we build ways for them to connect to Looping the Loop's professional artists and programme of street theatre. The youth theatre is about more than making a show. It's about growing, glowing, and enjoying life to the fullest!
