Thanet Youth Theatre
Looping the Loop's Thanet Youth Theatre nurtures each individual, supporting them to develop self-expression, confidence and communication skills. Here you can explore a kaleidoscope of fun games, create performances and make lots of new friends at the same time.

Our Youth Theatre runs every Monday and Tuesday during term time, no auditions are necessary and every child is welcome (capacity permitting).

We have two groups for young people in Thanet, ages 7-11 and 11-18 (or up to 21 for those with SEND). If your child is on the cusp age of 11 and in primary school we suggest they join our junior group, if in secondary, our seniors.

A little more about our Youth Theatre
Thanet Youth Theatre is open to everyone, from absolute beginners to experienced young performers, offering a great way to make new friends and learn new skills.

Classes work at the speed students need and we create bespoke ideas for the groups that take into account different personalities and preferences, including doing our utmost to accommodate those who would rather be involved behind the scenes. No student will feel forced to perform in a production but if they choose to we build ways for them to connect to Looping the Loop's professional artists and programme of street theatre. The youth theatre is about more than making a show - it's about growing, glowing, and enjoying life to the fullest!
